Anger and despair seem to be making their home on your planet recently. They have walked in your front door, settled down on the sofa and are asking what’s for dinner. You don’t remember inviting them in yet there they are. We see you wringing your hands wondering what to do – wondering how to get them out. But it seems these two have planted themselves in your home and there’s little you can do about it.
We can tell what you shouldn’t do – you shouldn’t invite over more company who will make these two feel at home. Don’t let in righteous indignation. Don’t let in a sense of superiority. Don’t let in fear. Bar the door to angst, ego or ridicule. You have enough to deal with without creating a bigger burden for yourself.
The fact is that anger and despair are here for a reason – reality is changing and you haven’t been paying attention! Instead, the great majority of you have heedlessly continued on in your familiar little ruts, happy to remain oblivious to the changing vibration. Instead of meditating you are binge-watching reality TV shows and feeling resentful as you soak up whatever flavor of news you prefer. Instead of making yourself a part of the community you are spending more time closed off in your cubicle so that you can afford more “stuff” that will give you self-esteem. Too many of you are living your lives in a type of self-induced coma.
That’s why anger and despair have come to visit.
If a person repeatedly ignores gentle suggestions and advice, in time that advise is going to get louder and louder. If you continue to ignore it, you will eventually find yourself hit on the head with a figurative club. That’s what’s happening now. It didn’t need to be this way, but the Universe had to get your attention some way.
Anger and despair have arrived because you are beginning to realize you have been sold a bill of goods regarding the nature of reality. We understand how painful that must be because you have invested so much time and energy into managing your lives and attuning your vibrations to best work with that reality. All that effort that you wasted on something that isn’t true! The temptation you feel to let in righteous indignation and a sense of superiority are your ego’s attempts to self-soothe. Don’t do it because the club will only get bigger and heavier.
But now what? Who are you now and how do you right yourself when you become aware the foundations and principles on which you based your identity are unreal? How do you overcome your panic to find that reality is disintegrating in front of your eyes?
This is actually where it gets fun, because shedding your old, rigid beliefs is so freeing. You feel so light! You feel so liberated! A heavy psychological framework of world views – one that you didn’t even know you had – falls from your shoulders.
And now is the time to find out who you are.
The increasing vibrational rate of your planet makes this easier than it would have been 25 or 30 years ago, but you still need to do the work. It’s not enough to quit your job, sell your stuff and start traveling (although we would support you should that be the path you choose). You need to meditate, you need to listen, you need to pay attention. You need to actually think about what you observe, rather than adopt a convenient viewpoint that someone else is expounding.
The most important part of all this is realizing your own power. The version of reality that is currently accepted tells you that you are weak, that you should seek out and follow others who are stronger than you, and that you need to follow a certain path in order to survive. None of that is true.
You are strong. You are beautiful. You are worthy. Knowing yourself and shining brightly are your most valuable gifts to the Universe.
